Create Induction Kit for Trustees

We want to make Waitaki Community Gardens a great organisation to be a part of, so it is important we provide new trustees with necessary information about the organisation, the role they will be performing, and how they can contribute. We need a keen trustee to take over creating an induction kit for future trustees. You can do it from home at a time that suits you.

Sales Roles

Oamaru Farmers’ Market Stall Holder

We want to make Waitaki Community Gardens financially sustainable in the long term, so it is important we sell some of our produce and seedlings seasonally at the local farmers’ market. We need keen volunteers to take responsibility for setting up and manning a stall at the farmers’ market.

You don’t need to be a sales expert–just someone who is willing to sell stuff at the market , answer questions about our organisation and tell people about our current projects. We will provide everything you need for a farmers’ market on Sundays from 9am-1pm. It will probably take 5 hours each market you attend, but it will only be seasonally and not on a regular weekly basis.
